West Yorkshire & Harrogate Cancer Alliance

“We have used the Deadline Digital team a number of times over the past two years, and they are a fabulous team to work with. They always seem to capture the essence of what we are trying to achieve, whether it is through our large scale stakeholder events, our smaller projects or in one to one interviews. It’s important that we can rely on an understanding and sensitive approach from the companies with which we work to deliver our communications and engagement with people affected by cancer and the Deadline Digital team manage to strike the right note with all our stakeholders. They combine technical skill and expertise with professionalism, efficiency and, importantly, a sense of humour. It’s a pleasure to do business with them!”

Deadline Digital have worked alongside West Yorkshire & Harrogate Cancer Alliance a number of times now to help bring to life their vision of improving cancer care across the region. Most recently, we produced a series of videos from their Improvement Collaborative Launch event.

Services delivered:

  • Pre/post production & planning
  • Filming & staffing
  • Editing and graphics
  • Music
  • Post handover support & supply of file formats
  • One main ‘event round-up’ edit
  • Five edits specifically for social media

The brief:

We were commissioned by West Yorkshire & Harrogate Cancer Alliance to produce a round-up video showcasing their Improvement Collaborative Launch event.

The client wanted a positive, upbeat style which would effectively convey key messages about the work of the Cancer Alliance as well as establish the amount of different people involved in the day’s event. The filming involved a three-person crew, with interviews and b-roll filming often taking place simultaneously to ensure nothing was missed from the event.

We also produced five ‘cut-down’ edits, which were edited with a quicker, more succinct style specifically tailored towards social media.

Paige Collier (@PaigeFCollier) was our Video Journalist delivering the project:

“It’s always a pleasure working with West Yorkshire and Harrogate Cancer Alliance and being able to capture all the work they do to make their services the best they can be. It was great interviewing the staff and patients, hearing how events like this can have a true impact on people’s lives. I think the video really captures the enthusiasm and energy of the day and we can’t wait to work with them again soon.”
