South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust Canine Befrienders

“Deadline Digital are professionals in what they do, they know exactly what they’re doing… the final product was brilliant.”

Angie Barker | Befriending Project Coordinator | South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust

The brief:

Deadline Digital was commissioned to create a four minute video promoting the services of the canine befrienders project at Fieldhead Hospital in Wakefield.

The video aimed to showcase the great work the service does for patients in the mental health wards as well as encourage volunteers (and their furry friends) to get involved.

Video journalists Chloe Neal and Ben Housam interviewed project leader Angie Barker, as well as current volunteers. They also had the task of directing the dogs!

Using broadcast quality cameras, sound and lighting equipment, the team were able to capture the spirit of the service and shot some very cute footage of the friendly and well behaved dogs.

  Services delivered:

  • One, four minute video
  • One social media short version
  • Incorporation of client logos and branding
  • Two rounds of amends and password protected supply of draft versions
  • Videos supplied as YouTube ready HD MP4
  • Post handover support

“I would definitely use Deadline Digital again. It was a fun day!”

Chloe Neal was the video journalist involved in planning and filming the project:

“This filming day was really, really enjoyable, not just because we got to film with dogs all day, but because the people who are part of this service were lovely to work with. Angie gave her own thoughts and ideas about what she wanted to get across and we worked hard to make sure we accommodated them. It’s not often we get to film with animals, so this was a new and very fun experience.”
