“Working with Deadline Digital has been a great experience. We’ve now done two promotional videos for the College with the team and have found them to be proactive, flexible and accommodating. The team really understood our vision and worked with us to create two videos we’re very proud of. The first video even formed part of our submission for an FE First Marketing Award and we were delighted to win Gold!”

Deadline Digital worked with Barnsley College to produce a first-person video advertising the college’s facilities and departments to prospective students.
- Pre/post production & planning
- Two full day filming days
- Filming & staffing
- Two first-person POV videos
- 16 social media edits
- Editing and graphics
- Post handover support & supply of file formats
We were commissioned by Barnsley College to produce multiple videos demonstrating the departments and facilities on offer across their sites.
The videos were to accompany their marketing campaign #MoreThanACollege.
The client wanted an overview video filmed from first-person perspective to advertise the college, along with social media edits of individual departments.
The videos were to be used as part of Barnsley College’s submission for an FE First Marketing Award.
Deadline Digital were thrilled to hear that the College won gold with their submission.
Following the success of the first video, Deadline Digital were then commissioned to make a second, featuring more of the college’s facilities.
The two main videos have since reached over 43,000 views combined on YouTube.
Head of Video, Jay Christopherson (@DeadlineJay) was instrumental in this project:
“We really enjoyed working with Barnsley College on these videos – filming them entirely in the first-person was an interesting challenge, but one that allowed us to deliver content that offers a unique and innovative perspective on the College and it’s facilities.
“It’s great to see the College come away with the Gold award and we’re very proud that our video helped achieve this recognition.”
